I am a storyteller.
I use my hands and camera to tell stories that words could never capture.
I've always been drawn to long forum journalism; 90 seconds never felt long enough to truly capture a story. Documentary journalism became the perfect outlet for my creative ideas and career goals. After writing pieces for MediaFile, I found a love for investigative journalism and was able to take that knowledge and apply it to my documentary work. I know I won't create documentaries until I graduate, and I've built a foundation for my career goals. I'm dedicated to gaining experience and growing my abilities as a documentarian; creating long-form content early in my career will be vital for me to reach my goals. The spark I have to tell the stories for those who can't speak for themselves starts with my continuous effort to produce authentic journalism.
